2/3/2015 - Call for the submission of research proposals within the framework of the European networking project COFASP-ERANET “Call for applicants for transnational research in the thematic areas Aquaculture, Fishery and Seafood Processing”

The objective of the project is cooperation between agencies of EU member states for the development of sustainable exploitation of fishery resources, organisation of fishery & aquaculture research, as well as research related to the processing of fishery products.

Within the framework of COFASP-ERANET, a Joint Call was announced on 15 February 2015 for the co-funding of research projects in the areas of 'Aquaculture, Fishery and Seafood Processing'.

The total budget of the call amounts to 6,150k euro. Eight countries are participating in the call (Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Turkey).

The projects to be approved will have a duration of 24 to 36 months.

The Greek joint venture member-agencies whose proposals will be accepted will be funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology through the Operational Programme 'Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship, Innovation' (EPAnEK), one of the five sectoral operational programmes of the Partnership Agreement (new NSRF) for the 2014-2020 period. The participation of the GSRT in the call amounts to 500,000.00 euro (100,000 euro per proposal). This publication is contingent on the approval of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3).

The deadline for the initial submission of proposals (pre-registration for full proposal) is 17 April 2015.

The final submission deadline for proposals is 17 June 2015.
