The Action concerns  the support for the implementation of research project and innovation expenditures and is included in the Actions for the European and International Networking of research teams.

The main objective of the ERA-NETS schemes, in the context of the European Research Area and this present Action, is to intensify cooperation between actors from different Member States and Associated States and to coordinate joint research activities, such as research and innovation programs, part of these programs or similar initiatives.
